Psychild's 4x4 Grow Tent (Black Sour Bubble, TWxES, SSHx, DPx, BRxBR & MORE!!)

i know people that use 5 teaspoons of cal/mag on a regular basis.... i pay about $30 for it, so I only use 2 tsp. per gallon, sometimes 3 if I'm feeling generous!!! but i do use that much EVERY single watering.

You wouldn't happen to have a TDS meter huh? Just interested in how much ppm that adds....I'll stop by and ask a hydro grower of mine. I use epsom salt instead of Cal/Mag though since I don't have that option around here....I'm sure the dosage is a tad different.


I fed most of my plants about 400ppm of Epsom Salt last night, so we'll see how they take it. Found a job at a car dealership yesterday! 401k, benefits, the whole 9....Gonna be driving an hour to work for a while, but it'll be worth not having to cook food!

Do you have any feed stores or grain stores around you. I don't think bone meal is that hard to find and is loaded with calcium and P

I can definitely get bone meal √ I'll have to try some of that, definitely been noticing the P def :/

I havn't 100% got the job yet, but I was talking to some kind of Manager at a local dealership, and he said he'll give me a shot for sure once Feb rolls around and their new building opens up.....I also told him my Dad's been drag racing for 25+ years, so I know a thing or 2 about cars....I'm not expert at all, but I know more than the average person. So he said he'll see what he can do as a technician. Gave him a call today and his phone was off, but he told me last night he wasn't going to work, so that's more than likely the reason why. I left a voicemail, and hopefully I'll hear from him soon. Not only could this be an opportunity to make an actual decent amount of money, but my Dad works at a dealership in a very very large city. Now when I decide to move and chill with my Dad, I don't have to rely on him to help me find a job √

about to take pictures of my Caliband....she's starting to amber up real nice now. Gonna let her get another full day of light and chop her. Lights on at 5pm CDT

Harvested the Caliband 2 days ago....I have some before and after pics. The BSB as well as TWxES will be ready this week, and the PBS and Lemon Candy will be right behind them. √ A little busy at the moment, but once things slow down I'll get some pics for you guys!

Psy hope all works out for you to get the job. Congrats on your recent harvests, cant wait to see some pics.

Thanks man! Appreciate the happy new years message too! Been hella busy lately, trying to find a new place to live, as well as a job.







Also if anyone was interested, I'm pretty sure I found the problem to my leaf curl. My plants have been looking terrible lately, which is why I havn't been posting pics. Lesson learned in this grow.....Epsom Salt is not a very safe alternative for Cal/Mag. In my future grows I will buy some Cal/Mag as well as a cheap EC meter so that I can measure my pH levels easier. I took pictures of the Calibands root mass....One is a whole picture of the mass once pulled out of the pot, the other is one where I dug a trench through the middle to show that the salt build-up was through-out the entire pot. There's pretty much no way in hell I could have flushed this plant well enough. Which is another reason to use bigger pots √

Is that the one you had the clawing problem with??? If so it still has some nice size buds for all that clawing. I knew it would bud nicely, good shit Psy, nice way to start your 2012!!!

Hey there Psychild nice harvest hope it helps out if your moving it. Yeah man I cringed when I first read you were going to use epsom salt to combat your cal/mag issue but I figured I had given you enough advice on this grow and you would have to learn that one for yourself. Epsom SALT is a no no...you dunna want nooooo SALT in your soil ; !)

Looking forward to some more harvest pics brother, have a good one!

Thanks BKB! Yeah that's the one that had the worst problem. I'm surprised she made it that long with as much salt that she had built-up.

Aw man! Lol Always slap me in the face and correct me Lol. Do you not remember who I came to you guys from???? Haha....Anyway, now I know for sure that Cal/Mag is the way to go.

I have a BSB ready to go into flowering....been throwing out calyx's for about a month. I'll go take some pictures and show it to you.


Also I have about 3-400 Caliband F2's, and if I remember right, the Male Pheno was the Caseyband pheno. Looked just like Stoney's BSB, but Green. √

I'll go ahead and take pics for you guys in a few. Next up should be

(In this order...but hell whatever works out the way it's supposed to?)
BSB (8-9 weeks somewhere around Friday)
TWxES (10 weeks around Friday)
Lemon Candy (Completely in the dark Lol but some of her pistils are already turning)
Purple BS (10-11 weeks on Friday)

The BJxBB and SSHx are about a week behind those, then the mammoth BS that I had should be good to go about a week at most 2 behind those.

edit: The 2 that are coming down look terrible by the leaves.....REALLY REALLY Mag drained, but until I get some more money there's nothing I can do about it :/ Hopefully I can find a room mate soon and not have to worry about finding a new place. I'm working on slowly flushing the other younger girls, so that maybe I can get a tad bit of control out of the soil. Hopefully by the time I get them flushed I'll be able to have some Cal/Mag. Wish me luck guys! I'm going to talk to the land lord in a little bit about letting me stay in the house, and let me look for another room mate at least until February, only bad news is I'll have to tell him I'm gonna be a tad late on the rent. >< It's all good though, I have a plan. My room mates that screwed us, also left a giant mess in their side of the house, so I'll be taking pictures of everything with all of their damage. Gonna offer to clean the place up and get it ready for the next tenants if he will let me pay a tad late, and give me till Feb. If he does that buys me just enough time to finish out this grow. Also I live in a college town, so finding a room mate around the time school starts back in the spring (Next week) shouldn't be the hardest thing ever. I might have to stealth it up quite a bit more soon though.

Sorry fellas I was talking to the land lord today, and yesterday I got caught up cleaning up this giant mess that my old room mates left behind. Still a bunch more to go too. Anyway, The talk was pretty good, I told him what all problems they caused, as well as apologized for the dog. Everything seems to be cool. He's giving us until the end of the month to find a new room mate. Hopefully by then I'll be able to find a job, or room mate to help pay for bills. Really hoping the job thing works out so we can just live alone though. If that's the case I can start putting a lot more focus on the girls

Good News is I'm gonna go ahead and throw my next round in soon so they can get their stretch over with with a little bit of light. Then once the others are done it'll be time to beafin up and sugar coat. The flushing I've been doing has been helping. I started giving a couple some molasses yesterday and they seemed to green up a little more over night. Apparently the molasses adds and /or makes Mag more available for them. I'll post pictures tonight if I get a chance. Sorry for the hold up!
