Pruning?

I live in the high desert with very hot windy conditions. Last year I only grew 3 plants, but I grow outside so they were huge, but I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and had a very difficult time trimming the buds even with 4 helpers. My hands were killing me. This year I am growing 30 this generation and maybe 30 the next. we'll see how it goes. Since it's so hot here the buds dry real fast. My grandchildren live with me so drying inside is not an option. I am thinking that I will hang them in the garage, plenty of ventalition, with the leaves on to slow the drying process. And the leaves will be much easier to remove once the stems and leaves are dry. Then to tupperware containers kept in the fridge and burped daily for 7-14 days.

Do you think this will work well?

I think its easier to remove them before. Do you have friends that know who would help trim? 30 trees is a lot to do yourself.

I discovered that if you trim big fan leaves to allow sunlight underneath/more buds and then bring them (the leaves to a boil in enough water to cover them and a little olive or canola oil, let simmer a couple of hours, strain, pour liquid through the leaf matter a few times till it gets dark green. mix with ice tea, use to make coffee or cook with. it's really good. :hump:
