pruning

After multiple searches I still dont get what parts are actually pruned? what dont you want to prune?

And finally when do you start pruning?

I wouldn't prune unless absolutly neccesary. Are you pruning so your plants won't get that tall? Pruning only hurts your plants by stressing it making it work harder to grow. It dosnt increase yield becuz pruned plants grow slower than not pruned plants. If you want 2 increase yield are save vertical space, tie your plants sideways with shoe strings so that the internode arms turn into little plants. INCREASE YIELD SUBSTANTUALLY

That all depends. Right now my plant is pruned because she is laying sideways after a light fell on her. I pruned the underside and made clones with those. The reason I pruned because the under growth was getting no light. Sometimes salvaging involves experimenting.

I've been pruning a mother that I use for clones in my vegetative room. She kept trying to grow inbetween the lights and her clones. So I hacked those arms off. Does that seem like the right thing to do?

There's nothing wrong with pruning HEALTHY mothers as long as there healthy and u don't take all your clones in 1 day. Take 1 clone a day so u don't shock your mother from all the hacking.
