im exactly on week into 12/12 so i wouldassume their still in the "transition phase" for the branches that cannont make it above the canopy can i cut em off the plant and clone em? or is it too late now that im in 12/12..mind you this is only day 7...

Also, if i were to cut tem whats the best brache to cut...ones with at min. 3 real nodes?

- il post pics of my scrog later on tonight when i get a chance..thanks guys

You can clone just fine, 1 week into flower, if that's what your asking. Really any size branch is clonable, until it gets woody. And yes, you need to cut all bottom growth off below the screen to allow airflow and reduce the chance for mold. Plus, there is no need for the underbrush. What your shooting for in a true scrog, is 1 bud per hole. I don't know what type of screen you are using, but a lot of growers are using large holes with nylon string. I am from the old school scrog (what I consider to be "true" scrog) where you use chicken wire and have 1 bud per hole. Also, any leaf material, fan leaves, etc, that intrudes on the next bud needs to be cut back. Your goal is to have just bud with very little leaf material that can shade out.

@godslave thats what i use, chicken wire. and when i post pics (tmororw at somepoint) after lookin at it wuld yu be able to shoot me a few pointers/advice if needed? thanks guys

im getin the cord tomorrow i promise guys!! and for the scroggers out there, after i clean up under the canopy should i do a light-medium feed of water/superthrive? or just do it right before im about to do my usually feed ( 2teaspoons tigerbloom,2 tablespoons big blooms, 4 teaspoons BC Sweet grape..and about 18 days in12/12 il be doin beastie blooms til flush..currently on day 10 but promse to have pics up by tomorrow night! thanks bros

First of all, nice healthy looking plants!
About the scrog aspect... It's really too late to do much training. The training should have been done long ago when the pants were about 8-10" above the pots, which is where you put the screen.
And let me clarify before I go any further, the SCROG technique I am speaking of, is the old school traditional scrog, as it was when it first hit the internet around '97. There are many different variations now, but I prefer the old school version, which was supposed to mimic SOG, just with less plants.
Ok, onward... With a typical scrog, you train all your growth under the screen till the very end. It is best to use clones. And I personally veg them about a week after reaching the screen, and then on to 12/12. Almost all of your screen fill is after 12/12 and during the initial growth spurt. Then, once your screen is filled, you let them start popping through the screen, doing a final training to put the branches through the holes. Finally, you trim all of the rest of the growth that is still under the screen to allow airflow, prevent mold, and allow the plant to concentrate on the shoots above the screen. I personally trim all fans or any growth that is shading the shoot next to it. I want each bud shoot to have it's own space and not be crowded or shaded, allowing optimum light penetration. Sometimes it means only cutting half a leaf, but I do whatever it takes to allow the light in. Some people disagree with trimming them back like that, but it worked for the original inventor, and it works for me.

But anyways, on to your situation... As I mentioned, you are a little overgrown to do a traditional SCROG, but with a little trimming I think you could really maximize your girls. I would just try and put as much as you can through the holes and trim the leaves so they don't shade each other. Cut the undergrowth and let the buds you trimmed back explode. You really don't want anything under the screens but branches, no leaf material. If possible, I would also suggest putting a small fan under the screen blowing up.

Here are a couple links to some helpful info on SCROG:

This second link will take you to some of the original inventors posts from '97, pretty cool stuff.

Hope this helps, keep us updated on how it goes.
