pro's and cons to growing in loft..........

hi, i'm thinking about starting a grow op in a loft space, but wanted to know all possible pro's and cons about doing so before i start. it will be soil based so chances of flooding are eliminated from the off. cheers

By "loft" do you mean attic? For one, it's going to be hotter up there in the summer and colder in the winter, so climate control will be a big issue (unless you live in a climate that doesn't vary wildly from season to season). Another thing will be insulation. If you're using HID lights, you're going to want to insulate so the heat from your lights doesn't show through the roof.
