Proper RIU Etiquette

This is thread was started for those who havent got a clue and after I have seen blatant disrespect twords those who have made a major contribution to the RIU community, please feel free to add your two cents, heres mine...

1) Dont ask someones location, not even generally.

2) Dont pretend to know what your talking about if you have no proof.

3) Dont go hating on others with proof they have mastered thier craft

4) If you have a noob question feel free to use the search field

5) Dont waste time in others threads with repeat question if they have specified NOT to do so.

6) Do Not be a HATER or attempt to correct others spelling :finger:

7)IF your not sure of the "do's & dont" read above AGAIN

8) If you havent got a clue please refer to rules 1-6

this thread does not include everyone on RIU just the ones who insist on stayin ignorant :wall:

yah, i agree.. and i really think its great for someone who hasn't been around all that long as has already learned the ropes.. its really not all that hard to do...

I kindly thank you, i didnt do this for reps, but please feel free if you like the post, this was posted for all those who have helped me learn this beautiful art the ones who have posted many times and have made major contributions to RIU and still get hated on my "nobodys" Real recognize Real.

I know what you mean about haters. Know it alls are almost as bad. I have a thread on water that is pretty comprehensive. I did a lot of work and occasionally someone will come in and repeat some shit I already posted like they are the authority.............it can be a little annoying. I mainly just ignore them though. No use getting worked up over something so minor. :bigjoint:

if your going to post a question we need to know the basics to give a good answer so please give some details (nutes,soil,lights,room size and anything that pertains to the ?) maybe a better title too not, what is this or help .

shit every one knows what town i live in. so what.i have even posted my phone # so what. why you want to come over and medicate. :mrgreen:there are never any dumb ?, its just the same ? being asked over and over and over again.really all they have to do is spend a few day researching the site a bit for the answer. but the saying goes like this. CLOSED MOUTHES DON'T GET FEED

any thread inquiring about yeild, how long left, is it a boy or a girl, should automatically be deleted :P all it shows is a total lack of research and effort and common sense :P had to throw that out there :lol:

i agree on general correcting of spelling and whatnot, but come on the foum with "iv 2 plants that r gr8 bt theres a prob cuz i dunt no wots wrong" etc and i will most certainly hate! :wall:

(with all due respect) go ahead put yourself out there like that the majority of us will not likely provoke the Feds seeing as most states are not legal and federal law trumps local law
