Propagation

Ok, so i have germinated some seeds and after they popped, i put them in rockwool cubes (rockwool was soaked in 5.8 PH water). They're now in a propagation dome with a heat mat under them. My question is, when do i need to put a light over them?

not until they sprout and start life above the cube, then ul only need a gentle light till they have made their first couple of nodes.

I have a 4 foot, 4 bulb T5 fixture that i'm gonna put over them. How quickly do they grow at this stage?

They should sprout within a day to a few. Keep moist not wet and I put the light on them after 2 days usually not.matter what. Keep wattage down.

When I soaked rock wool before I would soak in 5.0 ph since when the rock wool was added the ph raised to 6 flat. Just a thought though seems like you did all the right steps.
