Hey all... I have a question. I keep hearing that stress can cause hermies and that stress can cause males, but I'm very skeptical of this just because it seems like a myth... Do plants carry both male and female genes? Why would stress activate male genes? Is there any scientific literature on this?

Stable female genetics cant be hermied.
 
i mean it is certainly true because alot of breeders force seeds by stressing the plants out usually by interupting the light cycle.
 
maybe not alot but i have surely heard of it. that one guy from ghs even talks about it in some of his videos.

Well so far the profile fits docs suspicions...so as you reveal yourself if you can't show proof to your theory about stress and hermies that in itself would show proof you aren't
