Trying a couple of new things this grow.

Auto Fem's from AutoCanada.

King Gelato, 2 x Gelato, Purple Silverback and a Gorilla Glue #4. All dinky little greenish seeds popped !

First, germinated fully in distilled water, ~ 1/4" tap root after 36 hours. Do Not miss the whole paper towel thingee ;)

Cut open an older bale of ProMix HP and found it to be quite dry.

Filled up my yogurt containers and wet with a 75% solution of Mega Crop's recommendation for seedlings/early veg.

Common knowledge seems to be to wait two to three weeks to start feeding but in what medium ? ProMix has no nutrients in it.

Maybe a bit early to judge but color looks good, no signs of burning and the first set of leaves are still green.

Comments ?

You did it
You are happy
Guess that say it all
The promix I use doesn’t need nutrients for seedlings and if you are using the two part mega crop that seems high

Title says MC One Part :)

Their recommended dose for seedlings/early veg is 1.32g/2.5L water, I added .7g

To the ProMix HP before planting and for their first watering.

Update > Day 50

Some thoughts, I'm now at 6.7g/gallon of MC with just the hint of yellow tips here and there. PPM is 1200.

But, the last week or so three of the plants are drooping three or four hours before lights out. Drooping to the point of worry.

And the top new growth of leaves are twisted/corkscrewed.

Temps are ~ 25.5c daytime, down to ~18c at night, rh is ~40%.

On my second last watering I gave straight well water and the girls did seem to perk up but still drooped close to nights out.

My plan is to lower the feed and move to a feed/water/feed schedule. I've raised the lights and turned them down to 75%.

For perspective, the back two Gelato's are 36" high. One natural, one topped.

The Purple Silverback in the middle is 30", she is 20" from the light.

The King Gelato on the front left has been topped and LST'ed, she's 24" high.

And the Gorilla Glue #4 front right has been left alone and is 36" high.

I have removed anything on the bottoms that won't amount to anything, other wise I've left the fan leaves alone.

On close inspection, I see two leaves on the PS with a few yellow/brown spots. Everything else looks good aside from the odd canoeing and the top twisted leaves that have mostly straightened out.

Day 56, feed/water/feed the last week and lowering the MC to 4g/gallon seems to have done the trick.

Leaves on new growth look normal, GG#4 on the front right is now 40 1/2", King Gelato on front left is still stretching and flowering @ 32".

Gelato back left started flowering earlier and is now @ 36" and bulking up quite nicely :weed:

Day 60.

The Girls are making a run for it ! They are now at the top of my enclosure

King Gelato (front left) has stretched an inch a day for the past week and a half, she's now 43".

Gorilla Glue #4 (front right) is 40".

Water with 1g/gallon of Bud Explosion, then next feed with 4g/gallon of MC. Taking a gallon every two days....

Day 91, three of the girls are getting close.

I was at 6g/gallon which must have been borderline "enough". I quit feeding four days ago and the fan leaves started yellowing almost right away.

Pistils have mostly changed color but are still white on the foxtailing. Thinking another three days or so and chop !

King Gelato and GG#4 need more room. Looking like another two or three weeks, as long as my last photo grow.

They are at 6.5g/gallon but some bottom fan leaves have just started to yellow.

Must just be an old age thingee ;)
