For the weekend. This little plant has 12 rose budlets. I bought them closed so we can take care of it as a family.

Thought I'd put my grow area to work. After I read up some articles I found. Hopefully, I can get em going.

Should be fun.

Doing it for the tranquility ,

believe it or not i have cloned roses simply by putting the cutting in a potatoe and burying it in the ground..... worked and still does

I will have to try that ^^^

I have tried cloning the flowers yet. So any good tips on how to fertilize these babies?

I'm going to transplant into a bigger pot with happy frog soil . I'm wondering if I should ammend the soil with something ?

I myself have not had much luck cloning roses. Which sucks cuz I like having a nice big rose garden. Ill keep trying.

Bumping an old thread. I trimmed down my one season old roses for winter and covered them with the cardboard cap things. I also kept a bunch of pencil sized cuttings to clone. They are soaking in water now for refrigerator storage till I get back from CO then I'll try to root them in pots till summer transplant. Anyone had luck with this?
