producing a pound from 1 plant? possible?

In your opinion whats the best way to grow 1 plant into a pound of bud excluding the trimmings and such. an answer i would like would contain the amount and type of lights (600-1000w?), the nutrient brand (generalhydroponics?), and anything else that would be helpful.

Ive taken quite a long grow break so i was curious if there were any new awesome grow tips to effectively increase yield. techniques i know of are lollipopping and topping, nothin too fancy. any help from you pros would be greatly appreciated!!

The best way to get a pounder would be outdoor.I only grow indoor but I never herd about a pound off 1 plant indoor.I think your goal is suposed to be 1 gram per Watt.you could check out drgreenthumb seed bank he has some big yielding strains like his g13 and alaskin thunderfuck.I never grew them before though.

You try lst grow light stress training plus topping or fimming or scrog plus some good nutrients like dyna group.

novel idea and badass when done but not the ideal goal to strive for indoor. better to grow more relatively smaller plants still get pounds with less time per cycle.

Yeah, I've seen 21 oz off a 600 with 6 plants. 32 oz off a 1000 but you have to be a badass. You really have to have an ideal setup so it takes time but you could do it. I have not even got close to those numbers yet. Just moved to coco and getting better results so far. I am running dyna-gro and it has been excellent. I have tried many but this is the best by far!

the weight isnt the only factor. you want quality large top colas , not small buds that dont receive enough light. Indoor lights only penetrate so far down into the plant.

The plant was vegged for six months and put to bud at six feet. It topped out at 7'10".
The room ended up with a sixteen foot ceiling. Otherwise it was normal grow, very minimal pruning, 30% of the light was sidelighting, 3000 watts in the room.
General Hydroponics three part because I was used to it and wouldn't screw up.
Rockwool in a five gallon plastic utility bucket. Sativa.

I was going for a personal best, I had done 14 oz and wanted to do a pound. The plant was two feet taller for three ounces more. There are easier ways to get a pound. In fact every other pound I have ever harvested has been easier.

17oz x 28 (gms to ounces) = 476g

1gram per watt was said before in this post, and ive heard it too. hes getting about 1g per 6w.
Please dont misunderstand, 17oz sounds bad ass even for a big ass plant. how long did that take to flower?

i think the 1gr/watt thing has to be inflated.
my first grow was hydro, 600w hps and i didnt have 600g thats 21oz.
i dunno that was my first grow tho...

maybe with the right strain dialled in just right, 2 month veg or however long it took to fill out a scrog 4x4 and under a 1000w.

maybe, but you could do it in less time and with less work if you used more plants.

12 plants, 2 gallon smart pots, 24 in tall 2 months ? more like 3-4 weeks

what are you using as ferts?

so you guys are saying the dynagro nutes a lot better then the genhydro nutes? and would growing 3 be better then 1 plant for a pound?

listen 1 pounders take plenty lights and air circulation. ur better off making a mom and taking clones and doing a sea of green with like 12-15 2 week veged clones, avg 1 - 1.5 oz per plant at least, then u got ur pound.

Imagine getting and ounce of finished product with one 28watt CFL. Which is sorta what it looks like someone suggested a few posts back????

OK so here's the story, I got legal and am limited to the number of plants I can grow so I wanted to get the best bang for my buck. I have grown every way there is and just came off 10 years of organic growing. Look back at some of my posts. I can grow 750g per 1000w all day with 20 plants and this is above average. So I did my home work and found the UnderCurrent thank you Daniel ( company Pres and founder) how many Pres have you heard from lately or answer your personal emails. Don't want to sound like a paid avert but I get 1/2# per plant with my UC so under a 1000w I get 1# from 2 plants, check out my grows, the kicker is I screwed up the first 2 weeks of the last 3 grows and still averaged 1/2# per plant. I am on my 4 grow. It's not cheap but the results speak for themselves, there is no other way. By the way there are guys getting 2+# per 1000w using this system. Me, I hope to get 3/4 a plant this time as I know what my FU was. Low humidity. I just set up my room again so have a look.

I got 17 oz off of my first plant ever grown...... Granted I put ONE lady under a 1000 after Vegging her for 6 weeks, I grow in Coco, have CO2, and total Climate control.... It was a 10-12 week strain though, and I let it go for 13 weeks.... Got my pound though.... Ive never heard of anyone getting a gram per watt.... Id say .5 Grams per watt is more doable.....

Not many people can pull down 1 g per watt indoors and if they say they do Bull shit. Now there are a few people who can do it but most 98% of you can only hope. If your getting .5g per watt that's good. IMHO

Scottyballs is avg 10-15 oz's per plant with a water farm and a 400 w. I believe he scrogs. Look him up.. He's pretty much got it down to science.
