Hi,
I am a first time grower and not too sure as to how i lower the ph of my soil.
The ph is at 7.5 now and climbing, the only available ph down where i live is for hydro, can i use this in soil, and how should i do it?This is my first grow and am a bit nervous about messing it up.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There isn't ph down specific for hydro that I know of. Water is water. You're just adding hydrogen+ ions which makes the solution more acidic, lowering ph. Vinegar works fine too. I've used it for an entire veg cycle when I was too lazy to get real ph down.

Thanks for that will do that, the stuff in the shop is called hesi ph down,it's got a big hydro sticker on the front of it was too paranoid to get it and the guy in our grow shop is just out to make money and would tell you anything would work as long as you pay a lot for it,do i use much vinegar?

No, not much at all. Like half a capful per gallon. One bottle lasted me a month with 9 plants in two-gallon pots.
