problem with youngs

hi
just took 4 cuttings from my mother plant.
put them in jiffi plates and hum. dome spray 5.8 ph water keeping hum high. evry thing was fine for the first 5 days but then all the tops began to turn black and rot, become mushy.
no roots growth.
any suggestions??

Too wet and this has killed the cuttings. Try to have it so the jiffys need watering every day after about day 3.
No domes or containers around the jiffys. sterile tools,heat mats and make sure angle cut is covered tightly in the jiffy no gaps.
