Problem with seeds !! AK 4T EIGHT??

did u soak the seeds first till they cracked then planted them ? or did u just throw them in the soil the more info u give the better ?

just threw them in a peat pellet and soaked . its in a jiffy greenhouse dome. 76 - 78 ish F
what do u think ?
i have another 2 in a zip lock soaking in a paper towel ?>..

see i always like to put mine in water and see them crack first so i know they are viable and im not just crazy trust me i dig up like 3 seeds before i settled upon that method sounds fine germination can happen in 3 days but then remember they are growing out of the shell and have to grow to reach the light if a week happens to go by and no action then id worry make sure it it being kept soaked though im about to post some pics of my seedling so u can see

I like to see the seed pop myself as well before planting the tap root. I usually just lay the seed on top of the moist soil and spray with mister in the morning and then at night. I found that covering the cups I use with card board so they stay dark helps the seed pop within 2-3 days. I like to keep the seed on top and keep spraying to make sure its wet and a bit covered on sides where its going to pop. Once popped I then poke a small hole and guide the tap root downwards and cover up to the seed shell so it can push up. Once the seed pushes off the shell I fill the cup the rest of the way and bury the skinny stem up to the foliage so it can start with nice thick stem instead of that skinny one.

planted 4 in soil still waiting for them to sprout. put two bag seeds that nirvana sent with them for free . put to in and both are starting to pop!!
what strain are these bagseeds they send . is this gonna grow a good plant??? nirvana sent 10 for free.
day 5 is tomorrow hopefully sprouted by tomorrow .

There's no way to tell what strain you got. Once the plants have been growing several weeks you might have better idea, but a positive ID on the strain is unlikely.
My germination method, by the way, is to wet some paper towels, fold in half, set the seeds in the middle and fold in half again so the seeds are right down in the fold. I then put that in a plastic bag, close it up and set it on top of my processor's fan (I have a huge third party fan with a big flat aluminum top). It doesn't get hot, but it stays warm. You want to convince the seeds that it's spring, and that means warm and moist. I stressed a lot over how to germinate properly before I did it, and laughed at myself good and long after I did it and realized how idiot proof it was.

we'll i dug up 2 one had cracked and tap root was small. so i buried it back . the other = nothing .same problem here idk what to do
my 2 bag seeds cracked in 24 hours so i planted one of those and still waiting on the other 2 ak seeds going on 2nd day now.
this bag seed is gonna grow strong from the sheer strength of that tap root.

a week and one day and we have success . not the ak but the bag seed has sprouted!! i know at lease 3 ak's have germinated buut growing slow.
