Problem with pH. Can't drop it down

Worry about what pH your feed is going in. How do you know your pH is over 8? The only reliable method is with a soil pH tester, and definitely not one of those cheap 3-in-1 meters.

The pH going in is always 6.2. I might have gone a bit overkill on the extra bacteria I've added

OP i can almost guarantee you the problem you have is not the PH of the soil even if your seeing 8's on that cheap heap of shit probe thing...

is that a dry reading? you can't ph test on dry soil.

Sorry man, but that pH meter is junk. The moisture setting might be OK, but I don't know. I returned mine as soon as I figured out the pH tester was worthless.

Looks messed up, flush with plain/ no nutes, ph,ed water and test run off. Make sure run off ec and ph are in check. I guess nutes building up in medium and causing lockout.

Do you mean your EC is 1.5? What is your base EC? PPM of your water before adding nutrients.

Yea pH is completely wrong. Says pH 8 for me when checked with a professional pH probe It reads 6.4…
The moisture side of things work well and that’s only what I use it for

Just ran some FFHF to runoff for the first time. No nutes have been added. pH was 5.5 so I would say that is where FFHF likes to be.
