Problem with one seedling and not the other in identical conditions has me confused

Anything strange going on here? Both 8 days old, both in the same soil, same light, just water and no nutes yet. Temps constant between 73 & 75. Hard to tell, but they are about 2" or so tall.

Other than the slow height growth, which I was told can be normal with White Widow autoflowers, I'm confused as to why one looks clearly different that the other. One seems to have some sort of problem and the other *seems* ok, but possibly developing the same issue.

I wasn't planning to start treating them for any issues this early, nor adding nutes yet, so I'm confused as to why it's spotted so early.

Yes, but I'm fairly new to this. Second grow. I thought that had to do with them growing at different heights and widths.
Usually they even out as they grow but variations are common even have plants that need their own feeding schedule
Those should equal out in the end but variables can dictate that as well

Thank you, I appreciate the explanation. I wasn't aware of that :peace:.

I'm going to let them ride until I basically can't, I guess.

Wish me luck.
