Problem: leaves yellowing near the stem

Just planted my clones less than a week ago, and already they are starting to yellow close to the stem. What am I doing wrong?

Outdoors, in SuperSoil potting soil, it has been pretty overcast the last couple of days.

Could it just be not enough sun? I'm using no nutes to start out but will start feeding them once they get a little bigger.

It looks like either magnesium or sulfur deficiency. Both of those will start yellowing from the middle of the leaf outwards. Make sure your pH is 6.5 or higher to prevent Magnesium lockout.

You might try adding a small amount of micronutrient formula, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of the recommended dose.

Also, if the plants are too wet they could start turning yellow, do you have good drainage on your pots? Are these in pots or planted right in the ground?
