They are still pretty small but growing quicker. Just under a normal fluorescent with two 40 watt bulbs(3100/3400 lumen) and a reflector. Also one 15 watt regular fluorescent for each plant.

This is my first time growing, and I am going to attempt the whole rest of the process with high output fluorescents. I know it will take longer, but I don't really have another option. Friday I will either order a new wave fixture(each bulb at over 5000 lumen) or get something at the local grow store.

Hey its looking good man. Im in the same boat as you and my plants are growing pretty slow. This wouldnt bother me if I knew atleast 1 was a female, but I dont know that
Anyway, it really doesnt matter because we need the experience hehe, better we kill whatever these plants turn out to be than the expensive seeds we order when we finally know a little bit of what we are doing.

I'm hoping to get at least 1 female, but I have a feeling both will turn out female. They won't be growing so slow when the High output fluorescents I ordered arrive. I will take pics

The number 1 rule is be patient Grass hopper, When your plant decides to tell you its sex, there will be no mistake about it. But remeber always germinate atleast double of what you want because Ive started 10 before and ended up with 7 males. but on the other hand I have started 5 and had all of them be female!

Installed 4 foot 4 bulb High Output fluorescent fixture, which produces 20,000 initial lumens. Included pictures attached. This thing is really bright.

My bubblegum looked a bit diff, also the stems had like pink viens or whatnot, is your plant a bit pale, or is it just the camera/lighting, anyway i posted a pic of him about halfway through vegging, its on that male plant discussion if you wanna take a peep

i really cant affirm what kinda plant it is, when it gets older you can tell by the smell for sure, it may be bubblegum but perhaps a diff strain?.. haha i dont really know but yours looks more indica then mine did, is there any pink in the stems??

Yeah exactly my stems are pinkish, the lighting is pretty bright on that picture. I think the strain should be full Indica? I have read something about bubbelgum kush, but there's no telling what it's been sexed with if it has.

Yeah I can't wait until it starts to smell like double bubble.

You wont tell the sex untill you sex it, and it wont smell untill it has been sexed. to sex it simply change to 12/12. and unless you want the shittest buds on earth, get a HPS, or 10 Warm light CFL's.

I might add some CFLs for flowering, but right now my High Output fixture works great, it gives off lots of light and I can put it a bit closer than CFLs.

Ouch, bummer,, give them away our have them to be baby sat? thats too bad I wanted to follow your journal as I'm getting 20 of them bubblegum seeds, damn it, well it's off to find another bubblegum journal..
