I appreciate that. For me I look at your pics and see white pistils reaching up. This to me says it is still growing and trying to bulk up. This is the reason I would suggest you wait. That said you are in the harvest window and there is some personal preference that comes into play. I think the best thing you could do is harvest in sections. You could take some now, some in a week and so on so you can try the strain at different stages of ripeness. Could be you find it gives the best experience now or perhaps you will learn you prefer a ton of amber. There is no rule that says you have to harvest the whole plant at the same time. As a matter of fact many cut the upper colas when they are done and leave the lower stuff to get more light and bulk up before they chop it. As for the varying opinions, that is just the nature of the beast as everyone has a preference. There is no black and white answer that would fit all. What is early to one is perfect to the next so don't worry about that too much. Just figure out what is the best result for you by testing different ripeness and you will learn more than anyone else can teach you.
This is a fantastic response, thank you for the suggestions and I think I will try that out for sure. I found the plant I had chopped too early according to a handful on here last time..back in March.. actually have me a really good head high, which is what I like more or less. I'm gonna take your advice on this particular plant and chop it in stages. Have about 15-20 colas on her, so shouldn't be a problem. I will say that I did let a plant go to almost all amber once and that shit put me to sleep..was like a sedative. The wife uses that before bed. Definitely not for me. Thanks again
