It's easier to get started than I saw in other threads, so the bubble jug was posted to show folks you don't need much to make a cloner or get going with DWC.

You are right about that in general.
Still I don't think a transparant jug is the best thing to use.
Wrap it in tinfoil and you are already improving it.
And if it can hold more netpots or collars it would also be nice.
Like your bucket. A bucket with a lit can be dirtcheap and lots of restaurants just throw them away.
More oxygen lines are useless as Airwalker16 already said.
Water can hold only a maximum of DO under normal circumstances (although you can press more O2 in it)
But the maximum is easy to reach and it is enough for your roots.

The bubble jug was just for inspiration. Ideally you don’t want to use a clear jug, I just tossed a black shopping bag around it. 
Once the seedlings are ready for their own buckets, i'll be moving those extra lines in to the buckets. For now, putting the extra lines in the one bucket is keeping the motor cooler.
