zippy is correct. After a couple weeks get into a water, water, nutes, kinda schedule. Keep the ferts light to begin with. And yes 6.5 is a good pH for soil gardening.

Yea, I just went from hydro to soil too. You want the mix damp.
A little root stimulator like Super thrive or vitamin b1 is good to use too.

I've been growing in promix for many years. pH should be 6.3 growing in. No fertilizer for 2 weeks at least. You should add 1 cup of lime for each cu. ft. of soil. I add worm castings and perlite too. So, for each 3.8 cu. ft. bale I add:

1. 25-30 lbs. of worm castings
2. 4 cups of dolomitic lime
3. 2-3 cups of kelp meal
4. ALOT of perlite- maybe 2 cu. ft. per bale.

If they start to yellow or lighten up, start light fertilization and build upward over time.

I would, hell if nothing else to ween them off the hard stuff.
Keep in mind you don't have a large root system to intake nutrients from that mix yet. I would mix up like 400ppm and water with that the first week then go fresh at 6.5ph for another week or two. Thats just me.
