preflowers showing not sure of one of them?

Hello any help would be appreciated. I started 6 plants a little over 4 weeks ago from seed ( strain unknown) they are already preflowering but my lights are on 18/6 still. 2 are def female with nice white pistils , but one looks like it might be a male but not sure. I want to get it out of the closet asap if it's male for the obvious reasons and to make more room. any thoughts?

Also the plants leaves are all pretty big but one in particular is doing quite nicely i think. The fan leaves are over 9 inches wide, bigger than my hand! i'm a girl so my hands aren't to big. This same plant also skipped the five fingers and went straight to 7 fingers, could this give any indication of strain? the fingers are a little over two inches wide.

I can't tell by your pics, I am int he same wait and see situation.

The female preflower can look like a male preflower one day, and the very next show two dinstinct little pitils (hairs) so do not be hasty.
The male will look like a crab claw and will stat making a 2nd and 3rd real quick, piled up on top of each together. Let me show ya some pics I took Sunday:

I just removed a definite MALE from the Bucket. You can see the cluster of nuts, or male pre-flowers near the top node.

I collected these pics and saved them over the past few years, from other growers.

A calyx (female pre-flower) can appear to be a male pre-flower, without the two pistils (Hairs). If you are not 100% sure, wait a day or two to see if the pistils appear.

Female pre-flowers are easier to distinguish than male pre-flowers. The female pre-flower has the two hairs. It is a lot easier to tell a male flower later, when it is a true flower. It looks like an upside down bunch of bananas.

actually my female look like big crab claws, and sometimes i dont pull males cause they could be hermie (male dominant)

Thanks for the replies, maybe i should start a poll? lol. I'm gonna flower soon, i just got a white widow clone so im gonna let that veg for a little longer. I'm currently using flouro's but i'm gonna switch to a 1000w mh for flowering because we're getting one for free. I have a 1000w hps bulb not the fixture and i can't get one yet ( boyfriend got laid off so i'm currently the bread winner ha ha) Is mh good for flowering? ( not gonna do it in my closet, to hot)

My gut feeling says its a male but i shouldn't go ripping it up yet i suppose...

could this one be an indica strain? sorry for so many ?'s this is the one with huge leaves that skipped the five fingers and went straight to 7

Well it's been a while since i first posted this but that was a male and we chopped it down. Out of six seeds only one was male except now we're 2 weeks into flowering and one i'm sure turned hermie and 2 others i'm keeping a close eye on. I think it's because of light leaks :wall:
