precision of 12/12

I know you need to keep your room lightproof during dark cycles, and I've heard that even a few minutes of light (to take a peak) can interrupt the flowering process.

I'm wondering if there would be any problems if you turn the lights on, or open the door, etc. a few minutes early. For instance, if the lights go on at 1pm and you open the door at 12:45, would that create problems or stunt growth?

Early is fine, disturbing it towards the middle of the dark period for anymore than 2 minutes can be bad.

a few minutes early shouldnt be a problem.i once didnt have a timer and so i had to turn the lights on and off myself,ofcourse i was a few minutes late occassionally,but the plants still yielded well tho.

apparently cannabis plants cannot see green light,just so you know.

This is a good point. If you want to work around your girls during their dark period, get a green light bulb.
