ok so i have some plants about 2 months old now, bagseed. they are on 24/7 light and have been for most of their life. in the last few days they have started to grow white hairs. does this mean they have reached maturity and i have to put them on 12/12 now??? or can i still keep them on 24/7 light until i want to flower??? please help me someone thanks :joint: :peace:

You can keep growing them and still take clones.I have some plants that show sex during veg and usually it happens during long flower periods of over a month.

Mine didn't start showing signs of sex til about 2 weeks into flower. I am on 3 weeks today and just took some clones from my blueberry plants. I asked NGT about it last Friday and he said they might look a little weird for a few weeks but they'd straighten out and be normal.

so the ones that are showing can i keep them in veg as mothers so i can take clones???

as long as theyre in veg (i use 24/0 light for veg) then you can keep them that way for as long as you want. my plants are several months old and ive kept one as a mom for clones, so go ahead and pick out one or two that show vigorous growth and leave them in 24/7 light for vegetation. but honestly dude, i wouldnt grow bagseed; those are hermiebombs. there's a reason that seed exists: it came from a plant that got pollenated somehow. which means there's a high chance it will hermaphrodite and pollenate your entire crop. ive often wanted to grow Goo when i find a seed or two in a bag, but picking off bananas isnt my cup of tea.

they've reached maturity and you can flower them now if you want to but you don't have to. i veg at 18/6, my babies like to rest a little. i've grown and bred some mighty fine bagseed. you can take cuttings once your side branches have grown a few inches.
