Best way to clean pre filter on carbon filter cheers

Hot soapy water with bleach ,rinse n repeat til clean, then I toss in drier . If I stretch it out I’ll just wrap some black tape around it .

First flush with hot water from the inside to outside so you don't drive dirt deeper into the filter. Then use soap to clean and rinse. I fill a tote with water and laundry detergent hand wash, then rinse. If you want you can then soak in a mild bleach solution, 10%, for a few minutes to sterilize it. Hang to air dry.
