Pre dissolving of dry nutrients question.

Greetings from Southern Cali....recently I've made a switch from a liquid nute that I've used for a couple of years. Just started a recipe for bloom that is 1/2 tsp. Maxsea Bloom, 3 g. Epsom salt, and 2.5 g. Cal nitrate per gallon of water. I prefer constant feeding each time I water. My question regards dissolving of these dry nutes. Is it o.k. to put my nutes in a little glass and top with a small amount of water, the day before using? I'm thinking everything would nicely dissolve before I add it to my gallon of water. Thanks for reading.

That would work.
Alternatively you could just mix up a larger volume of nutes and use it over a few days

I must have read your mind! I figured out the gram weights of all, and assembled a quart of "juice" concentrate....I'll be using 4 oz. concentrate per 124 oz. water, to yield a gallon. Appreciated here that someone was nice enough to respond.

When using dry nutes, it's a common practice to make concentrated solution and dispense the amount needed for a res swap//feeding. Once a solid is in solution the worst that can happen is that it will precipitate out.

Forgot to say "hi" - I'm in SoCal, north OC.

well the same for three part plant feeds, there sold seperatly because they precipitate when mixed together, thats why there used strait away. so your concentrate is perfect for feeding

I grow in hydro DWC and my res is 28 gallons so it's a bit of work to swap the res. To reduce the number of "aw shits" in a grow, I use a "Feed Sheet" each time I swap a res. It's an Excel document and I copy and paste the cells shown below then update the date. That makes it really hard to screw up and, second, gives me a running history of what I've put in the res.
