Practice seeds - tomato or??

I want to get some practice germinating seeds, putting them in rockwool cubes and then under flourescents. I can't use MJ seeds right now unfortunately because my house is for sale and it can be shown any time on short notice. What seeds give the closest difficulty to MJ seeds for germinating and growing seedlings? Anything better than tomato seeds for practice?

Lol why do you need to practice germinating seeds, all they need is moisture, darkness and warmth

The best way i have found to germinate my seeds is with a heating pad. i have germinated seeds with 1 inch root coming out of the seed in just 24 hr giving them the perfect conditions, 27ºC heat, absolute darkness and really really wet.

Well the main reason is because the house I'm living in now is for sale and can be shown on short notice. I can't have realtors or their clients seeing cannabis seedlings of course. I have a few weeks before I can move so I figure I could practice with tomato seeds or some other type of seed.

Also, this will be my first grow and I'm planning on spending a decent amount on seeds to try and find at least one truly superior mother plant. If I can get a good germination rate and produce healthy tomato seedlings and successfully get them into veg, I'll feel a lot more comfortable doing it with expensive cannabis seed.

If not for the fact that this place is for sale, I'd just get a bunch of cheap cannabis seed to practice with but unfortunately that's not an option.

Thanks for this advice - I'll give it a try. :)
