PPM's always rising

I have a pretty healthy grow. Rockwool slabs, 70gal res and a pretty basic nute mix. 900ml of Age Old Bloom plus a 50% solution of CalMag. My PPM's are always rising.

This recent res change I held a steady 800ppm for three days. Now the last few days it's moved up to 930. I wouldn't worry about it but once this WW strain hits 1000ppm it starts buggin' and the nute burn kicks in.

I've tried to keep my ph where my PPM seems to stay steady. It appeared to be that 5.8 is the number. It can't stay at that number all the time but it's always between 5.5 and 6.0 or so.

Why is my PPM still rising? I feel like I am not getting good nute uptake. I got buddies that use RO water just like me and their PPM is stays really constant even when they feed up to 1500ppm.

What gives?

My $.02 worth... Rockwool fibers are being flushed into your rez., which is way the #'s are rising. Plus... as your babies drink more H2O... the #'s go up too. But what do I know... I'm just a DLF.

Rockwool fibers would be a constant right? They would be there from day one. I have periods of steady ppm and then periods of rising ppm. Also, RW fibers wouldn't create a negative reaction. The increase in ppm causes nute burn.

I like where you're going but I feel my nute uptake is not maximized. Maybe this strains is just kicking my ass.

Okay, I think I know what you are saying??? Each ebb n flow more in more fibers can be flushed into the res.... as the plants drink H2O, the numbers will rise... does this make sense? amia??? Sorry, couldn't help myself.
