This is my first indoor Med Grow. Ive alwayse done outdoor in the past and my nutrients have alwayse ben done by the bottles advice. as of now I am on a once a week nutrient schedule, my room for my first indoor is looking amazing no complaints or trouble. I guess I could say everything is perfect. My question is is, if I were to up my nutrient to 2 times a week would it be better for the plants or to much for them? My PPm is about 850 to 900 with the nutes im using. Is that a good number, or should I adjust the ppm any.

I would follow the manufacturers feeding schedule..

And "less is more" when it comes to growing Mj.

Overfertilized plants yield less...

If you have a ppm meter, You may be able to take em up to 1300-1400 ppm..

Experiment on a few, but try not to over do it with the nutes.

Best of luck :)

How do you know that? What if he has a .5 conversion meter and you are referencing .7 conversion levels and he took your advice? BURNED PLANTS. You should be more specific. I know better but the OP stated it is his first indoor grow utilizing a meter so the confusion could be there.

I do have a ppm meter as I said Ive ben between 850 and 900 ppm when i test my nute water mix. Ive ben told to go higher on the ppm but my problem is ive ben scared to burn because acording to the bottles instructions once ive mixed their recomended doses for each thats where I land. Im told to rais the ppm but wouldnt I have to add more nutes to do so? and wouldnt that over do it acording to the bottles instruction.

What type/model meter do u have and what nutes are you using and what boosters are you planning to use? ? My concern was you are utilizing a meter with .5 conversion. 900- 1000 ppm (EC 2) which is a good ppm level. However, if someone suggests upping your levels to 1400 ppm, it may be too much unless the suggestion was for an EC of 2 which is 1400 ppm at .7 conversion. You were told to go higher for what reason?

heres a link to the exact ppm tester I have no idea if its .5 or .7 honestly i didnt know of a difference in testers. I thought you just calibrate and go.

You indeed have a .5 conversion. So when you see for example "EC 2" first add 3 zero's to get 2000. Next multiply 2000 by .5, = 1000, that is your PPM @.5 conversion. You are fine where you are at. I think you are ok adding pro-tek per directions, along with the bloombastic. Green planet does not seem necessary and almost redundant. Either Green planet or bloombastic. Green Planet is not approved in California so there has to be something f'ed about it.

In the example 1400 ppm @.7 = 1400/.7 = EC 2. If you would have added more nutes to reach 1400 on your meter you would have 1400/.5 = EC 2.8 !! 40% overdose !!
