First, you need to find out why your ppms jumped from 800 to off the scale overnight. Only 2 possible causes, someone snuck in and added something to the res, or, (more likely), your roots are dissolving due to rot and that's what caused the increase. I think it's time to use some hygrozyme, cannazyme, or other enzyme product to deal with this.

Yes one of my plants had root rot it was a differnt strain than the rest an obviously diddnt like the conditions it is gone now so how bad will it get please let me know

I can't really say, but I'd dose them with the 35% peroxide, then use the enzyme product. Best thing is to figure what went wrong and caused the rot in the first place (almost always excess heat), to avoid it in the future. In hydro, problems like this are best avoided, but I recently saw an amazing comeback, from a similar situation.

just sprayed the roots with a peroxide solution when i did the rez change and the plant not the roots, still look like shit. the ph is fine around 5.7 the ppm around 950 now. But the plant hasnt recovered yet and i know its only been 8 hours or so but hydro should recover much faster than soil so whats up how ugly is this going to get before i see recovery how much yield am i going to lose due to this?

I think you'd be better off mixing the peroxide at the max rate with water, and flood the roots, then see what happens. As far as yield, that depends on how much damage was done, and the resiliency of your strain.

Also, you PPMs are still high. on a 500 scale that is an EC of 1.8
I think most people on the board use 700 Scale but to be sure just use EC that way no confusion.

What stage of growth are you at?
I'm on my first week of flowing and i'm at EC1.2 I do not plan to go any higher than 1.6

Maybe a two day flush might help, but get a second appion on that.

I think i am going to try the flush couldnt hurt plant is almost dead it is in 3 weeks flowering, leaves are drooping so bad almost laying right against the stem and buds.

Shit man, Thats gutting.

I only have limited knolage, but I think less is more, Give it 48 hour flush and then put back in at around EC1.0 or lower, for a couple of days see if they pick up. If you have any root stimulators might be good to use them as well. But regardless of what you put in don't go over EC1.0.

I hope you plants come back. Keep us informed of how you get on.

I just cheked my plants beacuse I was ment to be going out for the weekend and they look like they are suffering from some to much nutes too. Now I'm not sure if I should go or not.

Mine are like my kids to much time by them selves and they are bound to get in trouble. If you gave to much nutes you should probably flush right away. I hope i go in the room to see a drastic change, i wish i could post pics but my pc crashed and have been using my ps3 to go to riu. New pc in a month or so i hope.

Damn, Ye I don't like leaving my babies for more than a few hours, I was at my girl freinds last night, If I had been here I would have cort it earlyer.

Really want to go out but now i'm not feeling so much like it, I will be relient on someone else bring me home, So I might not get back for 48 hours. On the over hand, once I do the flush Theres really nothing else to do and I will be sat here wondering why I didn't go out.

If I flush that is, I'm still wating for a reaplie from my post.

So here is a update on the dying plant i have flushed with ph water no good signs yet almost all the fan leaves have died there is some green growth but nothing new. The plant hasnt looked any worse and i have decide to give her another week to see improvements. If none, is that plant viable for maybe some cannabutter it has only been flowering for a month and really the last week nothing at all was new on the plant bud size hasnt changed.

What nutes are you using and additives? What size res and whats the res water temps? The highest ppm I use with fox farm is 1550 during flower. Also on the nutes make sure they are hydro nutes as soil nutes are very different. I knew someone who didnt read an bought fox farm soil nutes and used them in hydro which is a no no as the mix and concintrations are very different.

I am using the fox farms trio for hydro also with some techna floras sugar daddy. The ppms were so high due to some root rot that was on another plant that has met her maker. I did a rez cleaning and added a nute solution with about 800 ppm the next morning was over 2000. I intended on doing a complete flush with ph water when i realized i was out of ph down so i had to add some nutes to the new flush to bring ph down so ppm went to 1000 on the second day. then on the third day got some ph down and did a flush with pure ph'd water. It has been like that since waiting for recovery.
