Oh pffft I was thinkin
my timer broke and lights stayed on in my flower room for 3 days straight till I caught it. I had many stages of flower going, I freaked but nothing bad happened...everything turned out fine. But no guarantees, I cant say for sure what could happen you never know, stay postive

Yeah I heard extra darkness should be harmless and extra light can make them hermie. I was going to rent a generator but I'm tight on cash right now. Hopefully the extra darkness frost up more

they will probably have noticable stretch from just that 32 hours i grow dwc and just switched to 12/12 a few days ago and i can see new growth every day
Well I'm just about 4 weeks into flowering so I hope the stretching is over. It makes sense tho, the plants stretch when they're are searching for light

I wouldn't think vertical growth would still be vigorous 4 weeks in.
Not like the preflower vertical growth spurt alot of guys refer to as "stretch."
I'm prone to being wrong however.

2 grows ago the generator powering my town fried and we were without power for 3 days. No issues at all. I was 5 weeks into flower, no stretch either. Basement stunk like crazy and I rigged up a fan to an RV solar panel to keep my air moving inside.

Edison is shutting off power for 36 hours or only a portion of that? All that matters is that you have a minimum of 10 hours or so of darkness. You can "short cycle" your "daytime" and preserve the "nighttime" period of 12 hours until the light schedule coincides with your preferred schedule.
