Power Cloner Issues …

I have a power cloner 77 site.

It’s working fine and I get nice roots within two weeks, but I am experiencing a problem.

Once I take the humidity dome off the clones, within a matter of a couple hours the rooted clones all shrivel up looking like they want to die.

Anyone else had experience with this ?

If so what did you do to remedy this problem?

Thanks

I stopped using the dome on mine.

They don’t need it and it causes them to stress when the humidity level is not 99-100%

Instead of just taking the dome off, open the vents a little each day to get them used to it.

We have really low RH% here in Colorado, a product I like to use when I cut clones is called Vitagrow Antiwilt. Mix it with some water and dip the cuttings in there when you are taking them. It really helps keep them from wilting by closing up the stomata while they get started rooting. It could also be used in a spray bottle to hit clones when you transplant them but I have never had to do that.
