Powdery mildew during flowering - serenade

So I've been combating PM since I April 13th. I have about a month or so left to flower. I sprayed them down once with Serenade and it seemed to work but it came back after a few days. I made my own mix of soap/baking soda and have applied it to the leaves a couple times (very boring and time consuming process) and it's still there. I want to spray it down with Serenade again or build a DIY Sulfur vaporizer to try to get rid of it before it's too late... or is it already to late?

I read that serenade can be used up until harvest, but I don't want it to affect the way my buds smoke/taste which is what everyone is saying a sulfur burner will do.

I am going through the same thing bro. My plant's are 10-14 days out from harvest and I got a bad pm issue. My buddy told me not to stress and when I harvest to use an air blower to blow it off and it should be just fine. But he told me next time to use the serenade and to apply once the lights go out. Use a heavy dosage and repeat every other day and pm should gone....hopefully. Good luck and no worries!

haha you guys are nuts:mrgreen: ..ya just blow the Powdery mildew in the air it wont cause any harm..hahahaha... PM are airborn spores... thats what gave you the problem in the first place!!

Try Greencure...totally organic....totally oderless...10-12 day between applications....Can be used up to the day of harvest

Sulfur vapes = ROTTEN EGG Smell

Millk or H202...1/4 cup mixed in 32 oz of water works but only for 3-4 days inbetween applications

So give up the Serenade and get some Greencure then?

Hope this helps.
From my experience,
IMO...

Serinade / No

GreenCure / YES.
RH / 30 percent. (20-40 ok)
Have Better than good air circulation.
70-75 degrees F
Lower the Nitrogen your feeding the girls. (PM likes plants with higher N)

GreenCure. Follow The Instructions.
Spray (leaf tops, bottoms, stems , and stalk) when the lights first come on so the girls can dry out as soon as possible.
Make sure to saturate the buds very thoroughly, or the mold spores inside the buds can turn into BUD ROT. (that may happen any, but atleast you tried.)
Make sure the girls have lots of air circulation, (under, over, and threw). Let your girls breath, space them so they aren't touching one another.

Last years OG (great crop) was a wet one. PM stared showing its self in late August, but I caught it early enough to put it in check...
Serinade was no help. GreenCure aloud me to take my harvest into October. Only lost about 2% of my Buds to mold.

Inadvertantly, I brought the PM from my OG, inside...! Greencure worked there too. Looking at my Mother now you would never know she was ever infected.

I'm going to have to drive half an hour to go get this stuff, so I'll let you all know how it works out. Can I just spray this stuff directly into the bud sites and not have to worry about it causing bud rot or anything? I have a pretty good amount of air flow but I'm not trying to lose anything..

I had this problem and resolved it in my 9th week of flowering my White Widows. Mix 1 part skim milk and 9 parts water. Spray them for a couple days. You need to know your humidity. The spores germinate in humidity over 50% and temps below 76. I actually lowered my humidity to the 30s because I was still seeing this pop up when it was in the 40s. It's totally gone from my room and has been for the last 5 days. My buds don't smell and still look great. Skim milk is the way to go. It's cheap and let's you avoid spraying any chemicals on your buds.

Make sure you have proper air flow at all times in you cabinet as well that will create PM, you can use SM90 to remove it

Good luck

This is my understanding. Serenade is a beneficial bacteria or fungus that allows for no room for PM to grow and is only preventitive but applied regularly frommthe start and you willmnot get Pm. Sulpher is also preventitive an regular apps can protect your plants. Sulphur or mildew cure (garlic) willmmake your plants finish early (low weight) and possibly herm.

Neem oil is the only thing that will kill the spores.

So I am gonna be using serenade to prevent pm on plants. Sulphur to "clean" the c
Grow area and neem oil if i still get pm anyhow.
