Powdery Mildew and Medicating

So here is the million dollar question. if the plant is showing signs of powdery mildew on some lower fan leaves but the buds seem ok can you smoke them?

Is mildew on cannabis is like mold on cheese so that if one corner has mold the whole block is finished? Or is it like apples where some can be rotten but you can eat the good ones on the other parts of the tree?

If they crop is finished then why do they make powdery mildew cures like green cure, sns 244 etc?

no one has any knowledge about this?

I´ve had problems with budrot and if you´re buds are infected I recommend tosiig them, the spores and toxins should never be inhaled and the toxins will survive chemical extraction. If it´s just the lower leaves you should be OK with using the buds but chop in time before it spreads.
