This comes up pretty early in the Fatman’s thread:
https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/fatmans-diy-nutrient-mixing-guide.20899/

They also mention companies you can send in your water and get lab results on the contents. Some companies even mix ingredients to your requested ratio & to your water supply results then I’m sure you can remake their formula. Cropking used to do it not sure if they do anymore.

I use hydroponics so I settled on Jacks hydro formula, calcium nitrate, magnesium sulfate (Epsom), potassium sulfate, monoammonium Phosphate, Dark Brown Sugar, Heisenberg tea, Fulvic (kelp4less), Silica.

Still working on a homemade Rooting enhancer to match RapidStart or rhizotonic. I have a thread going for it already.
Hope this helps good luck with your search.
I don’t know what it is about where I live but I cannot for the life of me find any products for sale.

I have a massive hydroponic greenhouse that I use for a commercial business I run supplying veg to local resteraunts and I even struggle to find suppliers. When doing a simple google search even for cannabis nutes max bottle size is like 5l in rare cases 10l.

Cannot find a simple jacks water soluble fert anywhere at all.

The raw products available only in 2lb bags and only 10lb bags for the grow and bloom from just 1 supplier.

Only 1 shop in the whole country has that maxigro and it’s only a max size of 1kg

I’ve considered looking into buying the basic salts like phosphoric acid calcium nitrate etc etc but I’m only unsure of how much to add in those situations atleast the raw product line has a dosage guideline.

Although I havnt even looked into sourcing the salts I wouldn’t be surprised if I can’t fnd them either

For the rooting fert id just buy pure NAA and and IBA mix my own solution like in dyna grow KLN slightly. Low dose nitrogen potassium with slightly higher phopshorous to encourage root growth. No idea if that’s the best or not but it’s what I intend to try out once I figure out my source of the nutes

You order all of these things online. The jacks can be bought on a website called jr. peters 25lb bag is 55$ They carry calcium nitrate 25lb bag 50$ and Epsom is 35$ but I think it can be found cheaper.
There is customhydronutrients.com
Kelp4less.com or even amazon.com
The formula you can search is Jacks 321. That’s what this method has been dubbed in a sense I collect.
All the other ingredients are to make Moab, terpinator, and Hammerhead. Fulvic replaces Humic in the 321 recipe

Can get a 4lb tub of jacks classic 20-20-20 on eBay for equilivant of 30 usd and 75 usd for shipping and 25 usd import tax lol

So 130 dollars for 4lb and you can get a 25lb bag for 55 dollars what a joke

This is what happens when our country manufactures fuck all anymore and imports everything. Things that wiegh anything more than a few grams end up costing a fortune due to shipping around the world

Did a generic search for any general purpose water soluble fertiliser that I could use as a base and all I got from anywhere for sale here is this
https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Solufeed-1-1-1-Water-Soluble-Fertiliser-20kg-All-Season-Feed-General-Purpose-/183103999332?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10&_mwBanner=1&_rdt=1

Not too sure about it though as it’s nitrogen is derived from urea

What type of area are we talking about? Some hydro stores can buy directly from vendors you wouldn’t be able to.

You could run a ppm based schedule from ingedients in my attachment. There is several places you can find NPK ratios for every stage of growth and people even post how much ppm they run of calcium nitrate, mag sulf, etc. just tweak from there.

I’d forget the whole cannabis specific part of your search. I’ve harvested great crops from General Hydroponic products and the only thing I’ve had rated better was canna but you could buy the product or the products to make Flora Nova gro/bloom it’s a 2 part and there’s a lot of good reviews after you pay for import it’s about 7$ a gallon to make i’ve read. You can make your own fulvic.
You can look into FPE (fermented plant extracts)

Jr Peters General Purpose above:

It does contain urea nitrogen but so does the jacks General purpose 20-20-20.
Im pretty sure you don’t want to use K20 though:

Ah right ok I thought urea was bad in hydro.
I’m in the UK I’ve messaged a few hydro stores and asked if they can potentially order in larger boxes of the RAW line as if the price comes down on those I’ll be interested in giving it a go.

The UK just sucks for buying a lot of things, even dyna gro nutrients are only available in one shop in the entire county and that shop is out of stock a lot of the time.

I used it for 4 grows. Adding shine does not reduce the N
Re-read what I wrote dude. Shine does not have N, tapering off the base obviously reduces N.
Tons of people using V+B successfully in huge rooms. The N in it is not an issue if you know what you are doing.

Can’t find those for sale here unfortunately seems limited here
Edit found it actually I’ll look into them cheers

How much of maxi do you use per 4l of water in hydro? Trying to work out if raw is cheaper
Amazon .....
I do drain to waste grows ( hempy style ) , ph 5.8-6.0 ( may have slight drift so I range it tighter )
Feed schedule says 5.5 but I would get issues. PPM never goes over 800 / 850 .
Feed feed water in perlite / vermiculite mix. Tap water .

I use only those two part feed , no other GH products however you can if you want.
I prefer simple. Matter of fact MAXIBLOOM is so good you can grow with that one from the start veg thru harvest by itself.

GH provides multiple feed schedules for many different setups which I found is very customer friendly since there are many grow setups , not some one feed schedule for all. Note that ALL SCHEDULES are subjective and should be used only as a GUIDE.

Potassium oxide is what K is measured in on the bottle or bag analysis it will say K2O (potassium oxide). You need to multiply by 0.83 to convert to K. It's not actually in the mix.

And no you don't want to use urea in hydro. It depends upon microorganisms is soil to break it down. Good for soil.

That’s what I thought about urea but jacks hydro nutes has it in doesn’t it?

Try looking for water soluble or hydroponic nutrients in your search.
Mono-potassium phosphate
Potassium nitrate
Calcium nitrate
Magnesium sulfate
Di-ammonium phosphate

and
Iron DTPA (the kind for aquaponics)
Boric Acid
Manganese sulfate
Zinc EDTA
Copper EDTA

Looking for all these products and it’s really hit and miss found 6 of them easy enough however annoyingly from 6 different suppliers iron DTPA you’d think would be the easiest to find since they need it for aquaponics but can’t find it... might be worth me just spending extra and trying the raw line instead of pissing about with 6 different suppliers

Wish I could up and leave and move to the states lol can’t get anything here

Yeah nobody sells the bigger bags of any nutrients here it’s probably because hydro stores don’t want to waste money on shipping and import of large heavy items. And shipping across the Atlantic costs a lot and adds on massive prices.

Even when I looked into using Alibaba.com to buy raw nutes 300 dollars is added on atleast just for shipping

Oh and then to add insult to injury we get charged import taxes on the entire value of the item including shipping.

So if I can buy 50kg of mono ammonium phosphate from alibaba for 150 usd I then get charged 300 usd for shipping total 450 usd then 15-20% Tax on 450 take it to like 520 usd
