I AM NEW TO GORWING AND WAS WONDERING IS IT possible TO GET ONE POUND OUT OF ONE PLANT AND IF SO DOSE IT MATTER IF THEY ARE indica OR sativa OR A HYBRED

he wsnt saying its not posible for somebody to get a pound a plant. he was saying this guy wont be getting a pound a plant anytime soon, hard to judge yield from that distance.

the plant is 57" wide and 36" tall with 20+ colas and it's barely going into week 5(10 week plant)

seen 6 lb plants in the emerald triangle

i have heard of 12-15 ft trees in spain pulling 10+ a plant. it was a story in hightimes, i think it was an article by jorge cervantes or ed rosenthal or somebody.

what i am sayin can it be done with the right lighting and medium and the proper strain

I agree with this. Growing is much harder than spelling.

it is possible to get 1 pound a plant but probably not on your first few grows. the most important things for a large yield are

high yiellding strain such as critical mass
alot of light
long veg time
huge root mass.

i achieve over 2 pounds per plant by doing the following
veg for 8 weeks with topping
30 gal pots with coco feeding 4 times a day
2 600hps watts above each plant and 1 MH on either side of each plant.
useing the whole canna line up.

hope this helps

had a friend who yanked a lb indoor.. vegged em for 8 weeks with co2 in 15 gallon.. then co2 in flower. ran mix of advanced and yellow bottles
3 plants per light
final harvest averaged 2.5 per light
