Potential problem please help

Hello everyone,
Tomorrow there is a real estate agent coming to look at my house because we intend to sell it at the end of the summer. My grow room is located in my basement and is only accessible via a small crawlspace. My only problem is you can see the light from my grow room from the other side of the crawl space. I do not think anyone is going to crawl through there and i will not be home but I need to deal with the light leakage. My plants are currently in the vegetative stage (they sprouted less than a week ago) and they are in a 18/6 light cycle. I was wondering if i would be able to give them straight light for the rest of the night until I leave tomorrow morning and then turn the light off for the 6 hours. I do not wan't to stunt the plants growth but I am not sure what to do. Please let me know if this is a viable option or any other suggestions. Thanks.

Couple plants that sprouted in one hand, and a potential housing sale in the other....hmmmm.... if the potential for money lies in those few plants, my friend, you are in trouble in life. Turn the light off before yoi leave. When you get back turn it back on and resume normal operations.

Nahh you'll trigger flowering sexing, they might pull though or hermie, etc.. just seal up the crawspace hole, with tape etc... then put a cupboard or something in front of the crawlspace, with loads on top, the estate agent wouldnt want to get his nice suit dirty moving it all. lol Mind you they are very young, they'll pull through but taping the hole up is better , maybe fit a little door?

Or leave the light on til you leave then turn it off before you leave. They will be fine man as long as you remember to turn the light back on that is!

Just do what needs to be done to have the light off for when they are due.

People freak out too much with lighting. 1 whole 24hour period of darkness wouldn't do very much while still in veg.

Just turn them off when you need to and back in when you can.

we are too crazy about our plants, we treat them like perfect science experiments we have forgotten they are plants and plants are resilient

I'm gonna agree with sunni and some others. Turn the light off don't sweet it its not gonna hurt a thing. The plants won't perceive it like anything other then a dark rainy day.

Okay, I forgot to check back on here but thanks for the advice everyone. I shut off the lights and then left them and then resumed the light cycle later and they seem to be doing fine.

[FONT=&quot]Turn them off before you leave then turn them on when you get back.

Or adjust the timer to what ever you want.

We have all had accidents with lighting, with no ill effect.
