Hey guys, got a couple of clones off a mate, he got 42 oz off 2 plants. I’m hoping to achieve the same or at least a pound a plant. What’s your guys thoughts? They are nearly at week 4 of bloom, I vegged for about 6 weeks.
-Strain is cheese
-Using a Viparspectra par1200
-DWC System
-Good ventilation and exhaust
-1.5mx1.5mx2m tent
-Used Sensi grow
-Root Exelerator for 2 weeks
-Using Canna Flores
-B-52
-Big Bud
-Override
-flawless finish

your plants are gorgeous, various bud sites and they look healthy.
The length of veg is also playing on your behalf.
However even if you continue this way you shouldn't be able to reach 1lb each.
The viperspectra "only" (that's a totally fine device, personal opinion) draw in average 525Wh which means that this number in grams
should be your target.
there is a misconception and that's a marketing argument when they say 1200w (which is really 525w +/-) but the device only consume the half.
You won't be equalling an HPS 1000w (or even has 600w with superlumens mode on).
You should get away with 1 lb 1/4 and that would already be a great grow :)
Sorry for my English

Thanks for your reply!
I didn’t actually take into consideration that the actual power draw would be around the 500 mark.
I would still be very happy with 1.25 pounds out of the grow. Would like to get a longer tent and another equivalent light so they can have a light each after this grow.
btw your English is fine:bigjoint:

They look great, don't get me wrong...but indoors, a half a pound per plant with a true 1,000 watt light is doing great. So with around half the actual watts, for you to pull a QP per plant would be doing great. I do not foresee a pound per plant unless you find an LED made in the USA or somewhere else besides China. Some place out of Boulder, Colorado has some very high end lights and they pull an actual 1,000w from the wall. Can't remember their name. There are a few other high end brands too. If you dropped another 3 of the same lights over the plants you might be looking at a pound per, but your veg would have still needed to be 90 or more days in my experience.

But if you could do it indoor under any light, it would definitely be in DWC, so that is going for you.

Good luck though, and I hope you get 2 pounds per plant, I just don't see it happening.

Here they are now, getting very heavy with the colas laying down. Gonna start a flush with flawless finish tomorrow night and pull them in a week :leaf::weed: hoping for a bit over a pound:hump:
Well, let us know what you got. I would estimate it to end at about 400 grams dry, give or take 50g.

I would invest in a more powerful light and try 4 plants at half a pound each.
You can certainly pull more than 2lb out of that tent if everything is done right with the correct tools for the job.

Let us know what you pull off these though.

Alright, so I ended up with 320g. But the buds are fluffy and not dense, had this problem before and it seems to mean too much plant and not enough light. Definitely need another light. 4 plants at this size would be way too hard to handle in the space of my tent imo. 2 was already touching the walls.

I actually try to make sure my plants fill my tent from wall to wall before I flip into flower. This is how my tent looks right now and they just started their flower lighting schedule on Saturday. This is 4 plants in a 4x4 tent.

I've crammed a 4 x 4 with a 600 watt HPS and have gotten well over a pound of rock hard bud so you can definitely cram them in and get a good harvest of top shelf bud.

You look like you know what you are doing. You have 2 options but a badass prebuilt LED fixture .. thinkgrow model H would crush this 5x5 also the growcraft x6 from chilledled .either of these you would pull 2+ no problem in a 5x5. Also look at the raging Kush from Scynce led. great light. If you are looking to spend less money and maybe upgrade down the line get some quantum boards from alibaba. The price per watt is way cheaper then anything on the market and still will get great yields. 2 of these would crush a 5x5 at $486 total including shipping for both

Damn this is amazing..what yields do you average and what’s your setup ? Lights medium nutrients?
Lights are DIY Samsung F-Strip LED (500W total), medium is a 1:1 mix of Nectar for the Gods #4 & Elevation Summit Basecamp Soil in 10gal pots, and I’m using Elevation Organics Mountain Blossoms line dry amendments for top dressing and compost tea. I don’t have any yield numbers yet because this is my first grow under these lights. My previous grows were under Amazon COB LEDs so my prior yields were pretty low (2oz-3oz per plant).

I actually just bought 2 600w HPS lights and a 1.2m X 2.4m tent. Will keep the equipment I got now and still use it tho, got plenty of room.
I’ve pulled beautiful pound+ plants with hps before so I’m going back to them for a bit. :bigjoint:

Those plants look stressed out and unhealthy which affected your yield and density of the buds. Lots of clawing going on and they looked stretched out. I'd rock those 2 HPS and get back in the game. Dial back on the feeding some as well. Good luck.
