wats up fellow RUIs.
right now im doing my outdoor medical grow in so cal where the limit is 6 mature plants and 6 immature plants.
a buddy of mine and i setup his medical growroom doing a cycle setup smilar to SOG rotation so we can harvest 12 plants every month and expecting about 2oz per plant.
now my question is to help me with my indoor design and setup. i originally was gonna exceed my limit and do a system thatd allow me to rotate a crop and harvest 18 mature plants every month at 2.5oz per plant using co2 but ive been weighing the options and not sure i want to spend time in jail (possible if caught) and im trying to research and do the math that if i grew just 6 plants but did indoors trees i can still come out almost as equivalent as harvesting 18 plants every month. well kind of.
so heres my idea and questions open for discussion;
i plan or renting a new house and dedicating a spare bedroom for the grow op.
line the walls with mylar and split the room one side for veg and the other for flower. obviously flowering room will be a lot bigger. i will have 1-2 mother plants in 20gallon containers and a flouro system t5 for clones. then for veg im not sure wat id wanna use.
since i can tech have 6 mature plants in flower and 6 immature plants in veg.
for veg maybe do (1) 1000wat MH lamp over the 6 containers and veg for about 2months maybe more?
then for flowering im thinkin (4) 600watt HPS lamps over the 6 plants. or maybe (6) 400watt HPS -(1 lamp per plant, but thats more money for setup cost) or even maybe 1000watters on a light rail? idk im just trying to figure out how to maximize my lumen per watt ratio.
oh also im planning on using a huge t5 flouro lamp and mount them on each side of the grow wall close as possible to the crop to help promote growth underneath the canopy since the lights above will struggle to penetrate the canopy. this will help in bud developement. any other suggestions?
prob gonna do the FIM method too. ive had good success with :LSTing but FIMming will be easier and faster and not take up as much room by bending long stalks all over. id want at least 4 main top colas.
im gonna do organic setup and all soil with fox farm OF and use tea nutes with the bat guanos molasses etc. container size im not sure. at least a 10 gallon per plant maybe even do 20 gallon?
the other details i already have dialed in from designing my buddys room.
temp; 12000 BTU AC unit (doubles as a dehumidfyer)
air; 2 oscillating fans each room
sealed hoods with a 1075 CFM inline MAX fan cooling the hoods and evacuating the hot air thru the roof. air intake from outside but sealed with netting.
c02; tank with regulator and control box to measure PPM and time release co2 as needed. 1500ppm standard.
ph; digital reader with light measurer and moisture
water; considering a RO system depending on the tap water quality but ive heard not to use it period... so any suggestions?
support; bamboo stakes or tomatoe cage trellis heavy duty shit i used for outdoors
odor; 100can carbon filter for air scrubbing with a 800cfm inline fan
not sure if ive left sumthing out but feel free to add other shit.
i dont want to use chemical nutes.
ive research them sum and been happy with my organic grows although doin the tea does get old and laboring.
pretty sure the chem nutes cost more too.
fert schedule; every other watering
so thats most of my details so far even tho i think im leaving a couple things out but no biggie i just wanna get a thread rollin and see sum ideas and if anyone knows from personal experiance if u can successfully grow 1lb per plant indoors.
my theory would b by vegging for at least 2 months then flowering for the required time (at least 2 months) and pushing the shit outta the plant and flushing 2 weeks before harvest.
oh and btw the strain is prob gonna be WHITE WIDOW
which is a good yielding strain but still good quality and good for indoor and outdoor. it wat i have outdoor now.
and the room will prob b 10ft tall as average which i have to take into consideration since the container will be at least a foot and a half tall. the lamp hood is about a foot tall and the 600watter needs to be almost 2 ft away from the canopy. well maybe only a foot since ill have it air cooled. so that will give me approx 6ft of strong growth for the plants.
