Pot size

Ok I don't really want a very big plant and I was wondering if I used a smaller sized pot it would still grow. And if so it would be smaller.

just prune it. cut off the top when it has 4 sets of leaves. and then again when those tops have 4 sets and so on. Or... start it later in the season. I'm sure keeping it in a small pot is not a good idea, but i could be wrong.
