Pot size & SOG strain questions

supp ppl.. so i have an ak47 plant that has been growing for 2.5 months now maybe was a clone and have lst and took clones from her allready... shes on a 3.5 gallon pot and allready showing a lot of pistils... my question is would i be having any kind of trouble if i flower this plant at 3 months into that bucket? that would be 5 months in a 3.5 gallon i know a good rule is 1gallon per month.. but.. i dont think its a MUST... anyway.. my other question is..
ima order some seeds for a SOG in 2x 600w hps/dual arc.. and i intend to let those seedlings grow for 1.5 months pic out the most developed ones and let them grow to be mother plants.. so i can get clones only 2 weeks old to SOG a lot even more.. well what strain do u recommend me..? i was thinking cheese , white widow, lemon haze, would any of these be a good sog method? im growing in soil btw

i sugest u get a sativa hybrid.. sog will yield more with more sativa leaning genetics.. mite be a little longer flower time.. but i can pull easy oz a plant with 2 weeks veg from clone straight to flower and get oz to 2 a plant depending!!

and the pot size.. umm id atleast toss it into a 5 gallon if its not in flowering already.. ull have a better yield wih more soil before flower!!! trust me..

sog strains.. anything that has big bud in it.. lol would do great.. im curently doing Blue widow.. Diesel and original amnesia by dinafem.. and they are looking sikkkk

They say a gallon for every foot. But, a hydro store by my house has these pots and they are sprayed with some material that makes the root tip die and branch (divert) in another directions. You can get nice 6ft plants out of these 5 gallon spin outs.

I did some amnesia once. 1 plant 400 watts and got 6 ounces with 5 weeks veg and 10.5 flower

airpots and smart bags will do the same thing with no chemicals

Ill add my2 cents in. Sog I would go straight from rooted clone to flower. You say you have 2x 600 w, then you can put 80 to 100 2l bottles (75/25) perlite and vermiculite. Four 2l bottles equals 1 sq ft of space. There's a guy in a different forum who's avg 15.3 grams per plant.
