Pot Size for Plants

Hey,

I've got a couple of inchers (like 2-4 inches) and they're in pots that are about 0.75-1 gallon pots (literal volume- like 3 litres ie 1.5-2 2L pop bottles). I wouldnt think that they'd be root bound by now, but they seem to be growing at a fairly slow rate....but sometimes im not sure if it's just me being overly observant but they just seem so damn slow right now. They've been in a week or so and there is still barely a 3-finger leaf amongst them....any suggestions?

thanks

They're probably just stretching out their roots, they'll shoot up soon.
Don't use soil with time release fertilizer either (don't know if you are), they can stunt or kill young plants.

They grow really slow in the seedling faze they will start growing much quicker when they get a nice root system established
