Pot prices fall in 2016:

According to forbes magazine, prices are falling like a stone on pot prices, anyone seeing this at their local legal outlet? Here in the sticks it's still mostly $16/gr for decent kind (med). Washington state supposedly has dropped from 25/gr to 6/gr. Actually reading their mid year report the Oregon section shows outdoor ranging from 1300-1800 a lb and indoor 1700-2300. That's just amazing to this old pot smoker.

I don't like hawking my stuff around to dispensaries.. I had a great connection at Silver Stem in Portland, but I'm medicinal and they are Rec only now.
So I just unload to a medical distributor and get $1,100 outdoor and $1,600 indoor.. he gets the testing done.
I'm happy, he's happy.

Don't expect to see it at retail. There isn't as much competition as you think.

Look at industry like commercial fishing. Fish hit the dock at pennies per pound and then you see those same fish in supermarkets for $12-$17/lb. It's ironic that fisherman who follow the laws make less money than those selling on the black market (yes, there is a black market for fish). The seller makes more, the buyer pays less. It drives an underground world in a legal environment.

But what you pay at a dispensary won't fall a lot. Just what doobie farms gets paid will drop. Difference to the system.
