So my mate is wanting me to post her some of the nice weed we got in our neck of the woods just now. I know alot of people vacuum pack, which is probably the best idea but I don't have the money for the vacuum and bags. I was wondering if there is another way to do it, another mate said to double wrap it, and between the wraps put bicarb soda to neautrilize the smell wrap it up again and put it in a chocolate box of Roses. It's uk to uk post.
Any better suggestions or tips?

Should I do the bicarb, box of roses with it. It's also actually scotland to scotland.

tbh I'm not sure mate. I always her great things about them but don't actually have 1st hand experience. Vacuum sealer is the way to go, there not that pricey but if it's only for a one of then not much point.
I've heard alot about these dog proof baggies, again no 1st hand experience but might be worth looking into.

A vacuum-packer with some plastic costs like 20 quid? Get the money for a packer or just dont ship it if you're paranoid enough to ask on the forums..

Stick in a jiffy bag in a nappy sack and send by next day courier. Quicker in the system and fast as possible out. Don't use Royal Mail. Use a courier company, If have a next day small time local courier company even better. They don't care what they are taking as long as pay em to do it.

As said above! I posted some weed and some oil to some friends, just chucked it in an envelope and away. I find that vac packing etc is only needed for large quanities of if it's gonna be in transit for a while. If just for a day, i often just get some celephane wrap from the outside of tobacco boxes (12.5g amber leaf etc) and then seal it closed with a lighter, that'll keep the smell contained in the short term.

Seriously though, post to a false name (real address obviously) and make sure there are no fingerprints etc (deffo no return address) on the package.

wrap it in cling film pretty well stick it in a big envelope tape the corners and fill the envelope with loose coffee, ground not instant. i used to live on an island and the rumours were that dogs checked the mail coming onto the island cause they were forever catching it bein posted. mine came thru no problem with this method, but i can't even verify if the dogs were even there or not

1) you want to use USPS. They need a warrant to open your box. FedEx and UPS do not. 2) You want to conceal the smell. All carriers use dogs these days. Dryer sheets, plastic food wrap, etc will not work with dogs, as they can easily "smell through" any masking odor. Think of it like this: a dog's world is populated by and dominated by odors, much like our world is dominated by what we see. Trying to mask an odor with another odor fools not the dog - it would be like trying to hide a color from a sighted person by putting a different color next to it. An example of this that any dog owner should know is poop sniffing and butt sniffing. Do you imagine that dogs sniff butts and poop because they like the stench? No, they are merely identifying the dog that laid the poop. Glands in the dog's anus lace their poop with an odor unique to that specific dog. Dogs build a map of their dog neighborhood by sniffing the butts of all the other dogs they encounter and when they sniff a poop pile they know which dog had been there to lay it because they can smell the glandular excretion from the guilty dog in the pile. I think if anyone tried to use USPS to post from UK to UK, they would definately get caught. Probably by customs as the parcel makes it way to America and back. I have worked in several Royal mail sorting depots, both for post and parcels, although admittedly 20 years ago. I never saw any dogs used there.

If you are worried you can get smell proof bags,they cost between 50p and £1.50,and 100% work,they are designed to stop bears smelling food when people are camping in canada/the usa,so can't beat them.

There is some useful and relevant info,while you don't risk getting caught mailing uk to uk,lots of post men smoke weed,and so will probably find it and steal if ;), in the smell proof they wont
