Hey Hazy,

It's pretty nice so far! I've been aiming for use appeal over yield and I think I've isolated some desirable genetics for sure. I'm still going thru the first generation to find a pheno that I really love. I've found a few good ones so far, but I'll only continue to #2 when I find the one that hits home. It's a goose chase because the P1 Blueberry had a very poor plant structure but had amazing potency, taste and fragrance. The P2 Cheese that I used had a very wonderful plant structure and pretty solid everything else.. so I'm hunting down a 1st generation that has the good qualities of P1 with the plant structure of P2.

Here's a few pics of a recent F1 I chopped:

It's been slightly neglected, things have been hectic and haven't had much time to devote to them, but this one was chopped today along with another one. The second I have no pics to post, but it's quite an interesting bird... I let them both go for a very long time in flower, and the second fox-tailed like a drama queen.

P1 and P2 were both selected from a variety of BerryBlue and Cheese by Oasis Genetics in Ontario. Pretty unstable truth be told, but I wanted to gain more experience with the breeding process and at the time, this was my only option for obtaining fresh genetics (my favorite places stopped taking card, I don't like mailing money, and I dipped out of crypto$ a while ago lol). I happened to pinpoint some nice phenos that had the traits I desired (for the most part), then went from there. The result is surprisingly delicious. Curing a big jar of F2 as I type.

thats fuckin awesome! honestly I respect someone a lot more who takes the challenge of a really unstable cross or line vs something easy and predictable, the chances of finding something truly unique are so much higher. do you have a page on your work with this line?

this is awesome, your plants look fuckin great and it seems like your really doing this project the right way! im excited to see what comes of this!

Thanks for your compliment. No, I will not yet. But I intend to continue working with it to completion. It could happen in the future, but not via this site. ;-)

I was thinking of making a journal entry soon. Probably 1 or 2 more cycles and I will put something together. When I do, I'll be sure to link my journal to this thread for those who are interested. Thanks!

On a side note... A few months back, I managed to get my hands on some "Tiger's Vein". Unsure of the actual breeder, legitimacy, etc. It was a VERY pleasant strain to enjoy. Completely caked in trichs, very colorful and had a wonderful array of fruity/citrus aroma. I can't do it justice with my words, but I managed to find a couple of premature bag seeds... none of them have germed. Hah. Anyone know anything about it? Beyond a gem imo.

This is Super cali haze, definitely the frostiest auto I've grown. This poor plant has had a rough one, I've battled spider mites most of the season. So I'm going to turn it into bubble hash, extract the resins because I don't trust smoking the buds with everything I've had to do to fight the mites. Everything I've spayed has been organic, but it's in the buds and I'm not doing that. No flash, just morning sun.

I'll post more pics when I chop, another week or so.
