Portland area greenhouse grow

the helicopter was efficient at least. it could hover and do turns and drop elevation with ease. never seen a helicopter hover like that or make those kinds of moves.
So it was maneuverable. Don't make it efficient. Helicopters are VERY inefficient as a means of air travel. When compared to planes anyway.

Yes it is. Maybe not as good as yours or his or hers, but good nonetheless. Cuz I grew it :)
a buddy of mine brought some of my GDP to hempstalk this year and many veterans were thrilled by it.

but my outdoor stuff probably won't be so impressive. the mites are really enjoying the hotter than normal temps and i will be cutting a bit early so that mold does not visit.

In a police state its a great use of funds.
they gotta spend to keep their budgets.

the cops know i grow back here, they even kept the plants that were stolen from me earlier this year. and they know i'm legal or i would not be here to tell you about all this.

so not sure why they decided to check me out tonight.

Mites and mold/rol. The bane of outdoor growers :(

the mites were kept at bay pretty well with bi-weekly einstein oil applications all summer. i stopped about 10 days ago preparing for harvest and those fuckers just spread like wildfire with the unexpectedly warm temps.

no big deal though, they can be washed off with a good spray from the hose and the buds seem to be developing nicely anyway, just slowed down a bit.

They would only know you're legal if they kept a list of known legal grower locations.
I doubt they keep a list, they're just flying around wasting our tax dollars looking for anything.
Not trying to get political but it is what it is.

Edit: id keep my papers posted everywhere on every door to my house and all over my fence and green house lol. Otherwise the pigs just might kick in your door one night and start ripping plants out of the ground before you even have a chance to say a peep about anything "medical or legal". Would not be the first patient its happened to.

turns out i'm not special. the helicopter has been doing that for years. it was a local news chopper switching between two stadiums to cover the football games, one of the stadiums just happens to be a 5-iron away from me.

alas...

well, branches are coming down today. took a few away from the walls but couldn't stand to take much, it's got another week or two to go at least for the most part.

i'm glad i took a critical look at my 9' tall black domina in the back right, she was webbed and had tons of little mites ready to hatch soon. chopped all those tops, rinsed them off in the shower, and am hang drying them in front of a fan for a while before i trim them.

the branch i cut down a week ago turned out OK surprisingly. its high is not so potent, but it is long lasting and relaxing. i'm going to hold off on any further harvesting until these branches are dried and sampled. weather should dtart to get a little cooler here by that time (about 6-8 days or so).

Do you have any Harbor Frieght Driveway Alerts?

Must have IMO.
i have a few motion sensor alarms, but i've heard too many people pimp HB driveway alert this year. i will definitely pick one up and practice getting it dialed in for next year.

what's your drying/curing regimen?
depends.

right now, they are drying in an air conditioned room, so i trim a little closer and let them go longer, maybe 5-7 days depending on density.

the later bud which will be denser and wetter will be taken down when the weather switches and we turn on the heater instead of the AC. i find it's best to trim not as close and to dry the outside quickly, give it a second trim, and get it into paper grocery bags to dry/cure before it gets bagged or jarred.

the cure takes as long as it takes. if i do second trimming too soon, it could take 2 weeks. if i do the second trim too late, it could be a few days. the challenge always seems to be getting it at the right time for the smoothest cure and smoke.

the few branches that came down on 9/17 are decent. i took down about a bunch more on the 20th and 21st, so i know that will all be decent as well. gonna start harvesting harder soon. here is some hanging bud porn in the meantime.

Hey UB have you had your plastic crack or rip up this season? I have 6mil stuff for my GH and Im having to rip it all down and re-roof the whole thing...not fun in full flower given the plastic turns to dust and rains down on my girls :(

Think next year its going to be plastic sheeting so I dont have to risk my roof turning to powder and my neighbors assumptions verified !! :)

yeah, the plastic got a little brittle on the south side of the roof and cracked a little in a couple places. i got lucky and was able to just retape it and call it a day.
