Hey guys so I’m running a 4x8 tent with 1400 watts and a 4x4 for veg with 600 watts so I was looking into cooling options and found this sexy ass portable ac unit on Craigslist for $40. It’s a big boy 10,000 btu name brand everstar. I don’t think they make this anymore or wether the company is still in business it’s not a dual hose but it pumps out freezing cold air. Now my questions is I cleaned it out and it’s mint now. I have to use a 5 gal to catch the water dripping in the back. I’m collecting at least 5 gallons of water a day I keep it running pretty much all day cools my whole place. Can I use this water to water my plants the PH is at 7.0 perfect green color it’s even better than the water I get from my supermarket for 50 cents a gallon. Could this be a new thing for me will I save so much money on water? I hope it’s safe to use someone let me know. Here are some pictures and what the Ph looks like. I grow in soil fox farms ocean forest and I need a higher ph closer to 7 I’ve been doing 6.5 ph and I think it’s strips my lime I use by mid flower. First off no need to adjust PH in FFOF soil or any good soil for that matter. That soil will buffer PH on its own just fine. As far as the water goes, drink a gallon and if you don't die it's good for the plants.

P.S sexy AC, strange but I like it.

Always nice to get a good deal on something we need for our girls. That's actually a good price for that if I'm honest. I'll give you 60$....lol

That water should be just fine BTW.

Ok so I collected the water and then ran it through coffee filters here’s the finished result lol and after it sits for a day PH is at a steady 6.8

I just started doing the same.

Ph comes in at 6.8 also.

I do add a pinch of supplement, brings it to 6.5.

The plants seem to drink faster using this water. No adverse effects yet.

I may hit it with H202 anyway to be safe.
