Portable A/C & Carbon Filters

fresh air is always good if i was not doing co2 i would want my rooms air to exchange completely at least one every 5 min

"rooms air to exchange completely every 5 minutes" that mean I could hook the 6" booster to window and pull in fresh air every 5 min on a timer.. or how would you set it up with fresh air in and would a 6" booster fan even be enough?? How would you know when your rooms air is completely exchange?
