i suck at pool. for some reason my skills improve after a couple beers, then go away after a few more. i learned to play pool on a warped table in a tiny room with a short stick. i never had a chance.

Man I love pool but I'm just a bar player. I'm sure you guys have some cool-guy nickname for guys who only play when they're drunk at the bar. Thing is, I'm pretty good. Nothing special, but I think if I took the time to actually learn the game, I'd be sick.
I've been tempted to join the bar-scene pool tourney, but I never get the balls.

practice makes perfect. Need guidance to get better as to not form bad habits, its an awesome game if you take the time to learn and perfect. I started playing in the bar little less then a year ago but have found the experiance a good one.
