pollen when can i use

do i have to wait for the ball sacks to explode or can i let form to a nice size and crush them in a baggie to make them pop

I've always read that people just collect it after it falls. That's what I did, but I was tempted to just cut the balls off into the container and let them pop, but I thought they might just die so i didn't.

you have to aitfor them to pop or be on just the verge of poping. rip one off and look for urself

Once you see one or two pop you can kinda see when they are ready. I'm not sure if you can manually pop them, try it and let us know. =)

Yeah, that's true. It looks like the pod swells, then the petals start to push out,and it will actually look like it's about to pop the day before it actually does. But definitely let us know if you try it.
